Designer's Original
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)

Designer merchandise is a very lucrative business. We pay much money to wear the name of a popular designer. Sometimes, the things that we wear really are not that appealing to the eye. However, we still wear the clothes with pride all because of the name they bear. Sometimes, we even place ourselves in a financial bind to purchase designer merchandise that we really can not afford. Most of us know nothing about these designers. We know nothing about their character. Do they worship our God? What do they do with the money that they make from us?
Have you ever considered the fact that you, yourself, are a designer's original? You were created by the great designer, God himself. He formed and fashioned you just the way you are supposed to be. You are unique, a wonder, beautiful. His works are marvellous, and you are His handywork. If you are a born-again child of God, then you wear the name that is above every name, Jesus Christ! Isn't that awesome? When we come into the full knowledge of this we will not feel the need to wear designer clothing. We may continue to wear them, but it will not be a need. No longer should we insult ourselves and say things such as, "I'm too short" or "My nose is too big". You have the height that God gave you. You have to nose, eyes, ears, and hair texture that God gave you. To insult yourself is to insult Him and His creative ability. God knows more than we do, and He made us just the way we are supposed to be. Love yourself. Be proud of who you are. You are a designer's original.
